This past year our parents purchased the cutest 1940's house in the Napa Valley area and used their magic to redesign the whole thing. They are custom home builders but also dabble in design and interiors for fun, and they are so good.

Fresh white paint & linens, along with dark accent pieces make this a stand out room - currently loving a black and dark brown combo as well. The Shaded Landscape Mural was the perfect piece to wrap around the entire room. It adds a softness to the room and it's the perfect grey (grey can be so tricky in interiors - too warm or too cool!).
Mum found this oversized mid-century light that really pulls the whole room together. It's such a statement and gives a huge span of light stretching its arms out across the table with five bulbs. It's a win-win/no-brainer.
Turkish rugs are everywhere these days, they're show stoppers. The price tag can be pretty daunting sometimes though ... we got ours on Etsy. It was affordable and shipped so quickly right from Turkey. It was a great experience, highly recommend.
This is the perfect space for those beloved family dinners with the sunlight pouring in. Many great memories to be made here!
