Boston's Western Nursery Reveal

Hey everyone, Syd here! I am so excited to give you a tour of our sweet Boston's nursery, featuring the brand new Wild Wild West Wallpaper. It has been hard keeping it a secret until we launched the Cowboy Collection, but I can't wait to share his room with you now! I couldn't be more happy with our wallpaper choice, and hope this gives you some fresh inspiration if you're also getting into the western trend like I am.

Boston's room was originally inspired by the illustration that my husband’s uncle (Rod Penner) drew and gave to him as a child. Our uncle Rod is a famous painter currently living in Marble Falls, TX, and we always wanted to put this piece of art in our baby’s nursery if we had a boy. So when we decided to launch a western inspired wallpaper collection, it was a done deal!

Artwork: Rod Penner

We wanted the room to be very modern meets western for Boston, so we incorporated a lot of black and white elements in the room to keep it clean and sleek. It's quite a small room, so we tried to keep things minimal and functional throughout the space. The wallpaper and deep brown dresser give the room that western warmth we wanted, but the lines in the dresser give it a modernized 70's touch. We're obsessed!

Cactus Silk Pillow: Etsy

Crib: Crate and Barrel

Adding some desert greenery was a must - cacti & dried palms (my favourite!)

Arm Chair: Ella + Elliot

Side Table: Home Sense

Basket: Home Sense

Black & White Pillow: Home Sense

We kept the design simple as the room is very small. A little goes a long way here, and the wallpaper already adds so much to the space. Designer Tip: If you're working with a tiny space, try a wallpaper accent wall - It will help tie the room together without the need of adding more decor pieces!

 Dresser: Crate and Barrel

Thanks for coming along on this little tour through Boston's brand new room! We are over the moon excited and grateful to continue to watch him grow in this special space.
