This piece of art titled "Hare Hunting" was originally painted by Jan Wyck in 1690. Wyck was a Dutch painter who arose in an era dominated by French artists. He came to Great Britain in 1660 and provided the catalyst for military and naval art, as well as producing many fine works of battle paintings, hunting scenes, landscapes and portraits. He is also credited with bringing the Dutch equestrian portrait to Britain.
